Maximilian Vogt
Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf law faculty. Independent corporate practice.

Biography
Maximilian Vogt is a qualified lawyer and partner at the Düsseldorf office of German Firma. He holds a law degree from Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf's Juristische Fakultät and began his career as an intern at Deloitte's Düsseldorf tax practice, where he worked on corporate tax and restructuring files for NRW-based industrial clients.
Across roughly twelve years he has built a corporate-tax practice that concentrates on holding structures, the 95-percent participation exemption under § 8b KStG, the Schachtelprivileg under § 9 Nr. 2a GewStG, and Organschaft tax-group configurations. He owns the firm's holding-company, accounting, AG-formation and shelf-AG pages, and co-reviews tax-sensitive briefs across the other three offices. Düsseldorf's role as the firm's tax seat is deliberate: every Gewerbesteuer question, every § 8b margin calculation, and every annual-accounts publication decision lands on his desk.
Maximilian's typical mandate.
- Default Holding-GmbH + single-Tochter structure live in ~5 weeks; restructuring under § 20 UmwStG in 6-8 weeks when tax-neutrality is required.
- NRW Hebesatz reality: Düsseldorf 440% vs neighbouring Monheim 250%, clients choosing seat should be told.
- 95/5 rule worked example: €1m operating profit compresses from ~€516k (direct to natural person) to ~€689k retained at Holding level.
